Southern Medical College was founded in 2005. It is located at East Nasirabad, Khulshi, Chittagong. It is associated with Chittagong Medical University and is fully accredited medical educational institution formed under the permission of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOHFW), Government of Bangladesh. It is authorized to intake 65 freshman students, yearly.
The college is modern and well-furnished with sufficient rooms for the lectures, tutorials and practicals. There are also practical room, laboratory, museum and library. The college aims to offer quality education to their students so that they become skilled, devoted and attentive medical graduates achieving their goal of becoming a successful doctor.
