Hebei Medical University is a university in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, P. R. China, under the provincial government. Hebei Medical University was founded in the year 1894. It is one of the oldest as well as AAA graded medical schools in China. The number of staff members exceeds 7,100. Out of these, 1350 are associate professors, 836 are professors, senior researchers and chief physicians. Also, there are Bangladeshi, Indian, and Nepalese faculties for the students from Bangladesh, India, and Nepal.
At present, there are 25,600 students studying in this Medical University. Hebei Medical University has a long history of admitting international students from various countries such as India, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Pakistan, Nepal, Taiwan, the USA, and the UK.
The university has 6 affiliated hospitals with 4,566 beds for patients. In addition, it also has 60 teaching hospitals and practice bases providing students with sites of clinical teaching, specialist teaching and practice. More than 400 experts have been sent abroad to give lectures and attend international academic conferences. About 100 young teachers are thoroughly studying abroad for a Ph.D. degree. Its cooperation with domestic and international colleges and universities has grown increasingly.
